About The Garden, Child and Family Therapy Center

At The Garden, Child and Family Therapy Center, we believe that growth happens in safe, nurturing environments—just like a garden. Children and families need support, guidance, and the right tools to thrive, and that’s exactly what we’re here to provide.

The Garden was founded with the vision of creating a space where children, teens, and families can navigate life’s challenges with support and care. We specialize in helping children and their caregivers build emotional resilience, strengthen relationships, and develop the skills needed to flourish at every stage of growth.

Child therapist in Los Angeles

Hey, I’m Kelsey!

Before becoming a therapist, Kelsey spent years in education as both an early childhood educator and later as an assistant director at a local preschool. During this time, she gained firsthand experience in child development, behavioral challenges, and the importance of fostering a nurturing environment for both children and families. However, she saw that many parents and educators were struggling to find the right emotional and behavioral support for children, which ultimately led her to transition into the field of mental health.

After completing her training and earning her license as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Kelsey opened The Garden to bridge the gap between education and mental health support. Her commitment to this work has been widely recognized, and in 2024, she was honored as one of Santa Clarita’s 40 Under 40 award recipients for her impact on the community.

She started by working at We Rock The Spectrum, volunteered with Carousel Ranch, and participated in the Yes I Can program in high school.
